My newest book, Rainbow Theology: Bridging Race, Sexuality, and Spirit, is the first book to explore systematically the theological writings of LGBT people of color.
In particular, it examines the theological significance of the intersections of race and queer sexuality across multiple ethnic and cultural groups.
These issues are particularly important in light of the current polarizing debates over issues of race, sexuality, and religion within churches and communities of faith around the world.
As a work of constructive theology, it focuses upon the themes of multiplicity, middle spaces, and mediation as a way to open theological discourse for a broad readership interested in this topic.
The book is published by Seabury Books, an imprint of the Episcopal Church's publishing house.
